Gratitude
I want to thank you profoundly for the 100 plus followers. You have been amazing and super supportive ever since I started my website just over a year ago. I started my website with the intention to upload some of my works as advised by my mates. Then I stumbled upon a community of incredibly talented individuals on the platform whom have helped strengthened my quest for learning and discovery. My writing and design have improved significantly also as a result.
I post contents inspired by my love for words and quotes. I use a degree of expressive typography to show these words in an exciting, fun and engaging context. Like words, typography is powerful. Typography bring words to life and expresses words in the way it should be communicated and presented.
I hope to carry on delivering content that informs, inspires and at the same time excites you.
I am truly humbled. Do have a fantastic time.

As we age...
I was reading the post Monday’s Memory Lane… 3.Scatter the previous week and was drawn to these inspiring words;
“As we age, we change how we think, how we feel and how we behave. We drop old habits and seek out new. Enjoy scattering your thoughts…some go unseen and blow away on the breeze but some nourish the ground they fall on.” _Marie
Marie wrote these inspiring words on her website Create Space. I thought it was great and insightful about life, so I decided to place her quote on a photo I had taken above to convey a kind of meaning.
Marie is an amazing writer and has an exceptional skill in interpreting life, art, design, almost anything. I am a huge admirer of her works. I highly recommend visiting her website and follow her works. She is incredible.

Our Internal Power, Ur Internal Power
I created this artwork believing that our fortitude, our innate power to overcome adversity, fear or worry is tremendous. The power we poses within us is also limitless. If such power is harnessed and channeled the right way, just imagine the outcome… tremendous, right?!!
To quote a dear friend Tambu Geeray, “the potential we have didn’t fall from trees”.
‘Our’ or ‘Ur’ internal Power didn’t fall from trees and it is awesome what ‘we’ or ‘you’ can achieve if a little bit of belief is added to that phrase.
Believe in Ur internal Power.

'Big Opportunity'
You probably might be wondering where your big opportunity is.
It just might be at your door step, on the project you are working on at the moment, where you’re heading to at the minute or right where you’re sitting.
Meanwhile, talking about ‘big opportunity’, please allow me to wish all the wonderful women and especially those in my life a…
…more power to you.

The Egg and Life metaphor
“Your life is like an egg. If an egg is broken by an outside force life ends, but if an egg is broken by the inside force, life begins.” Jim kwik
Great quote from one of my favourite speaker and Brain Coach.
I hope that my visual metaphor does it justice.
Have a brilliant day today.

Look on the bright side.
I came across this great quote from a friend. I am delighted to be sharing this powerful quote on this occasion as this marks my one hundredth post since starting on this platform. I hope the image I created above serves as a visual metaphor to denote the great quote.
It’s been an honour to have met so many incredible individuals on this platform, sharing powerful and insightful contents. I hope to continue on this journey of growth, learning and discovery from this great platform.
This is to you that is optimistic, ambitious, passionate, a believer, an achiever, a goal-setter, a dreamer, a go-getter, a pacesetter, …I salute!
Keep looking on the bright side regardless of what obstacles you come across in your pursuit to excellence.
It has been a privilege sharing my works here.
Thank you once again for stopping by.

31.12.18 and Thank YOUs
I know it is New Year’s day at some regions/places. It is 22.40 GMT here at the United Kingdom. I will like seize this moment to thank you all for being part of this adventure of mine.
I started my website in late February 2018 and posted my first blog post on Mar 4, 2018 7:07 PM titled Happiness followed by Potential and Confidence respectively.
Some of my favourite posts have been Living, Together, Storybook, and of course, Kojo and Not Just a Pretty Face by Tambu Geeray respectively. I must state that Collaborating with Tambu Geeray brought out the best in my design concept to bring his story to life.
96 posts and counting, I wouldn’t have been here without the amazing followers and readers that have become a huge part of this journey.
My initial intention when I started was to at least have someone have a peek at my portfolio (which seems outdated now) having gone and studied Graphic Design as a mature student and doing the best I could. Life is about learning and discovery, and also rising to challenges. Studying Graphic Design in my mid to late thirties was no exception. It was very tough, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Imaging not trying at all. I gave my all despite my struggles, and in the end I graduated with a First Class Honours in Graphic Design.
In all these, I have met so many wonderful people along the way, and on the WordPress platform I have discovered some gems in people, their writings and stories. Simply amazing!!
This post barely has the space to express my gratitude. But here is to you all that have helped shaped and moulded me to who I have become. I can proudly say that I blog, I design, I inspire (I’d like to think so), I aspire, I illustrate, I……, I TRY.
2019 holds greater challenges but we will all rise to the occasion. Let’s go!!!!!!
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart and have a blessed 2019.
Happy New Year.
Yours sincerely,
Philip Abang
